One wonders who they think would do their dirty work for them. The military? Fat chance. Any so-commanding leadership would get fragged before the vast majority even remotely considered following orders to institute a communist dictatorship in America. The police? They’d get a few of the “borderline hires” - the most incompetent - who would be of similar utility as rentacops.
They would have to rely more like on an army of thugs, drug dealers, and pimps. Count out the college kids, they don’t even vote (and they are afraid of guns). And violent revolution is one of the few things that can strip you of tenure, so count out the ivory tower set. Try to release the prison population and import some more third-world mercenaries? Like herding cats, but the cats are on crack. I mean really, I cannot see a scenario that could not be put down by a even few patriots who have been clinging stubbornly to their personal armories...
Perhaps the plan was to bring in foreign mercenaries to carry out the genocide.
