The LAT is a bunch huey. They’re just saying they have a tape when in they probably don’t. If they do, it’s just O! praising his wife’s cookies. Just keep on burying the LAT. It’s almost over for them anyways.
They claim they have the tape.
They say they can’t release the tape because they promised the source they wouldn’t.
BUT, they have already reported on the contents of the tape, so telling people what is in it must be OK.
So, ask them to print A COMPLETE TRANSCRIPT of the tape in this Sunday’s edition of the newspaper.
That meets all their requirements. It is a call for action that doesn’t allow them to hide behind the “journalistic integrity” argument.
