George Jefferson understood how a market economy works and he was successful in it. He managed to create, from the ground up, a successful line of dry cleaning businesses in the big city (think crime, zoning ordinances, coding, fees, taxes, unions, and tiny minded letter-of-the-law mid level government workers all nibbling at his endeavors). George Jefferson, a made-up character, has more in common with millions of Americans that Barak Hussein Obama.

Or the one where Aunt Bea and Lucy get jobs on a candy assembly line.
