Why is it so hard to get info on Obama? There must be someone at Harvard that went to school with him.

I saw one story that came out during the primary. Evidently, the students at Harvard were so impressed with Obama’s oratorical skills that they invented what they called the Obamometer, a scale by which to rate the B.S. skills of fellow students. It was described as follows, when a student was giving a particularly fine performance, doing a snow job on a professor, they were said to be a 9 on the Obamometer. No one but Obama got a 10.

This IS a whole group of people who went to Harvard with him AND a whole list of names of people who knew him when he worked on the review.

I graduated from Harvard Law School in 1990 - one year before Obama graduated. My 1990 yearbook has his picture in it (individual portrait as well as group picture with law review editors from that year). I also remember him as a student. I don’t believe that the school did entire “class pictures” when I was there; we had a yearbook and everyone posed for his individual portrait.

There must be someone at Harvard that went to school with him.

There's plenty of poop on Obama at Harvard Law.

The "official" story is complete boolshiite, of course. But many of his classmates remember him as a completely useless and quite obnoxious fast-talking toad. That goes double from those who served with him on the Harvard Law Review. Upon which he served .... for the last damned time .... as President, not The Editor.

"President" is an admimistrative post, and he usually only bothered to show up as the "exotic" for cocktail parties, shirking, or screwing up, the few official duties that went with the post, which had to be done by others. Then as now, he avoided work and cannot write a thing without major help.

The Columbia period is much more mysterious than Harvard. He was there a very short time, was in General Studies, not Columbia College, which then as now, grants degrees to General Studies students who complete enough courses. Thing is, he wasn't really around enough to do that; 18 months.... for many of which he was out of town. Of course, we have no idea what courses he took, or how he did in them.

Admission to Harvard Law is also a wonderment, as there is no record of his having taken the LSAT. He was recommended to the Affirmative Action Officer there by Percy Sutton, and was supported by Khalid Mansour of the Black Muslims, formerly AKA as Don Warden of the Black Panthers, hidden from the authorities along with Bill Ayers, by Bernadine Dohrn.

So who is this guy? He is at least as mysterious as Lee Harvey Oswald, and quite simply we are never going to know the whole story. Right now, I'll settle for him being gone.
