Have some experience with adobe.
One of my hobbies is to restore old photos for relatives and friends, some before 1900 or right afterward.
Usually do the restoration (rips, folded sections and missing segments, etc.) at 200% to 400% magnification.
The object is to make sure everything blends and nothing stands out.
Barry stands out, ain't no doubt about it.
