The FEC or other appropriate agency could check this one easily. The are not doing so that I can see. You are right, we are Lawless.
Two thoughts:
1) I heard a few days ago that BHO’s contributions had gone down drastically and suddenly! Maybe someone found the spigot open and closed it. If so, he’s busted.
2) At the rate he was raising money, maybe that was why the whole government was worried about the credit crisis - all the credit card companies were going to go broke. LOL!!!
Every dime he gets should be subject to the same scrutiny as the GOP. Time is up. After the election is too late. Once he gets in with a Dem Congress it is over and we don’t come back.

McCain HAS to make a big deal about this! He and Palin should both mention this, the Khalidi tape and the wealth redistribution/Joe the Plumber issue in EVERY speech.
Forget the FEC, McCain should privately AND publicly demand that the Justice Dept. immediately investigate this.

Listen, I am going to say something that sucks but is true:
No one is going to pick up our cause until 1/2 the citizenship realizes that Democrats are horrible politicians. The last time Democrats had close to this much power was the 1970’s. Almost a full decade before the American public as a whole got a clue. Pain is the catalyst.
The AVS response comes back from the processor simultaneously with the authorization number. There is no reason check it on the “back end”. It just raises your transaction costs.
Do not underestimate the power of the ‘Vast Right Wing Conspiracy’.
