Really? I have dispatched many a critter with a 22. Get a 22 inside the skull and it does interesting things. Another little thing that is not widely known is that under the right circumstance a 22 will penetrate a level 2 vest.

You shoot the intruder with the weapon you have. Not the weapon you would like to have or will have at some future date...

While I am of the use enough gun school, too, if someone with a .22 tells me to stay out, I stay out unless going in is worth risking my life. My cousin died from a .22LR wound.
