WASHINGTON Presidential candidate Barack Obama is making significant gains among Jewish voters, according to two new polls.
The polls suggest that after months of hovering around 60 per cent, Obama appears to be within striking distance of the 75 to 80 per cent of the Jewish vote won by the three previous Democratic nominees for president. A Gallup tracking poll of 564 registered Jewish voters, taken over the first three weeks of October, found Obama leading Republican John McCain by a 74 to 22 per cent margin. That was a 13-point increase in support for the Democratic nominee since Gallups July poll, which had Obama leading 61 to 34 per cent.

LOL I think that was Freddy Prince!
Kerry made HUGE gains with Jews just before the last election.
I didn’t believe it then either.
There is a lot of visible Jewish support for 0bama in Miami.
I was in line to get into a concert the other day, and a family of Jews in front of us was busy telling the (black) ticket taker how much they adored 0bama and how they had gone to the rally the previous day, and we so in love.
As far as I know, the girl was not an apparent 0bama supporter (not wearing a pin, etc). They were just proving to her how non-racist and progressive they were, to give such love to a (half) black man. I about puked at the ultra-transparent pander..
I think it may be skewed toward the ‘Rats by these factors: (1) It’s conducted by Gallup; (2) The Tom Bradley effect - probably bigger in Jews than in the general population; (3) This is a 21 day time period in which Orthodox and some Conservative Jews would not participate on 9 of the 21 days because of Sabbaths and holidays. (Orthodox Jews would show a strong majority for McCain.)
Oh come on, the Jewish Vote typically goes Dhimmicrat by 70%, anything in that neighborhood is typical performance from them.
Now the real block, the one they did not poll is the Evangelical Community who makes it a fact of life to support Israel, they are not mentioned in the story.
Kerry also did not hang around a bunch of anti-jewish terrorists
Thousands of years of history points to modern-day Jewish liberalism.
Even Jewish “conservatives” are far to the left of most right-wing Republicans.
564 voters? LOL!!!! not, it’snot accurate. Israel is everything to these people. Obama is not their man.
It looks like Jews voting for Obama have not done any research.
As some one that comes from a Jewish background, dont count them out. The younger generations are conservative.
On the other hand Jewish organizations like AIPAC and others make dispropotionately large cash controbutions (on a per capita basis), so the big question is were does the money lead?
lot of jewish people live in my moms building in GA..every single one of them is voting for Obama...
my jewish neighbors in dallas=obama
my jewish friends in NC and SC=obama
I truly don’t get it...I think its blind following much like 90% of my black friends
Liberman is an idiot. He goes to synogogues and tells them "McCain is a friend of Israel, and so is Obama", and only warns them of Obama's plan to meet Iran's leader "without preconditions". Wright is not mentioned, nor Farrakhan, nor Khalidi, nor the Arab Institute.
Who did they poll, Century Village? Some of them still think that they’re voting for FDR.
Yeah, where is Lieberman? Haven’t seen him lately.
Actually, I thought I was having a de javu moment when I saw the headline. I quite sure some newspaper run the same headline during the last week four years ago.
Maybe even the same story, just changed the names.
if it is they must hate israel
Hell ye they know if Obama gets elected that means they get to blow the hell out of Iran before Bush leaves office
they know Obama will not help them at all this just speeds up the process it gives them a reason to bomb Iran,
