This is something like what I mentioned on another thread. Remember the Mel Gibson movie, what was it, "Ransom"? The one where his kid is snatched, he's supposed to go on TV with his million dollars ransom to show the kidnapper he's got the money. Instead, he turns the tables on the kidnapper, and says the money goes to the person that catches/turns in the kidnapper.

I would love Rush to go on the air tomorrow and say something like "To the person that has the Obama/Khalidi tape...you have 24 hours to turn the tape over to the public. If tomorrow when I come on the air, you have not released the tape, I will put a ONE MILLION DOLLAR BOUNTY on the video. Anyone BUT YOU who gets that tape released to the public by NOON FRIDAY will get a check from me for ONE MILLION DOLLARS. Again, that's ANYONE BUT YOU. Release it now and you can avoid the "Christmas RUSH". (Pardon the pun). Dreaming, I know.

I just learned about a big march at the LA Times on Thursday demanding the release of the tape.

This idea came from Newt on Hannity and Colmes. He said to offer $50,000 and see how fast it would be produced. I suspect you're right, 0bama can offer more. But how would he list it in campaign expenditures?
