They tried this four years ago as well:
Racine, WI - Need FReeper help to counter massive liberal GOTV effort using public school students!
FReepers were able to stop the school from officially sanctioning the event:
Horlick voting project canceled
Four years ago, some students did get parental permission to skip school, and were used to get out the vote in mostly Democratic wards. Although the school involved then also served Republican areas as well, those areas were ignored.
By calling attention to this flagrant politicization of the public schools, FReepers were able to minimize participation. Let's do it again!
Welcome to FR.
This should not even be a left or right issue. Public school children should not be subject to partisan indoctrination or used for political campaigns. These liberals should be ashamed of themselves.
what the hell is going on down there?? this is waaaay out of hand.
if you run into LouD say hello.
I was stationed in Great Lakes, lived in Kenosha. I loved Kenosha, I didn’t know it was so liberal around there.
We have the same problem with Seals who trying to win the seat from Kirk in our congressional district.
Seals’ doesn’t have a lot of money so he cheaps out by using our public schools for electioneering.
Seal has used our High School Newspaper to advertise himself.
Seal used school time at taxpayers expense to talk to students in History Class! Start passing around flyers and stickers. Kids had them on walking around school!
I went to our Lake County RNC to drop off the material from the Seal Team.
It just makes me sick!
I pay good taxes for our high school for someone’s personal campaigning!
You know what would happen if I went around to Science class and start preaching Creationism!
It would not be permitted!
But Democrats can do what they want because it’s for the chilllllldrrrrrrreennnnn!
