Why not watch, anyway, but if a Nielson poller calls you, tell them you are listening to a T Rex record?

I did something like that the other night.

Then you can get a little added thrill, lying to a pollster.

I do that all the time. I've been known to lie about my preferences of breakfast cerals.

There is no way they know whether your set is even on, let alone what you are watching, unlike the UK (where they drive around in vans with RDF gear tracking your IF stage leakage to see if you watch BBC without paying your telly tax, but that's OT).

I don't think you're correct on that, the part where the US is unlike the UK. My understanding is the cable companies have been catching signal theives for years with the IF stage detection trucks.

That’s why I wrap my entire house in tinfoil. Aside from keeping out the Venusian mind control ray, it keeps any pesky IF radiation in.

Teh cable people squirt in some sort of signal that leaks out, I think 220 KHz? They don't look at your set IF, since it's the same whether you are on cable, sat, or antenna.

I put a spectrum analyzer on a cable and (I think it was) 220 K showed prominently and loud.

Yeah, I lie to Pollsters. I'm a 29 year old Hispanic male, democrat, over 200K, three cars, voting for Kucinich on a write-in...
