Why?
Because he has no real understanding of how the Russians and Chinese work. And he has a bunch of proven losers as defense and foreign policy advisers.
Secondly. It will free up large amounts of monies for the poor overweight welfare recipients as they waddle about dragging their hordes of illegitimate kids about in the shopping malls.
