Pelosi says don't be afraid of Democrat control
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA (KGO) -- In the home stretch of the presidential campaign, San Francisco Democrat Nancy Pelosi has become a key piece of the Republican campaign strategy.
Senator Barack Obama (D) of Ill., continues to lead John McCain (R) of AZ, by seven points in Monday's ABC News tracking poll. So the G.O.P. is now warning what could happen if the democrats are in charge of both the White House and Congress. In Mountain View, Pelosi made an appearance at Google.
Pelosi came to Google to talk about the innovation agenda that the Democrats are promoting. It includes education and rebuilding the nation's infrastructure with green technology. However, a lot of the questions were about the presidential race, about the balance of power in Washington, and John McCain's statements from Monday morning.
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi says after the election she would like to see congress back in session to pass a second stimulus package.
"Grow the economy, create good paying jobs, in the future in a way that is a green recovery, geared toward Main Street and is fiscally sound," said Pelosi (D), Speaker of the House.
And on concerns that Democrats might control both the White House and Congress she said the following...

If the Dems control all three branches come January, I just might move out of the country. Don’t know where I’d go just yet, but I’m sure I can find someplace to go that would be better than The Socialist States of Amerika.
Bipartisan...You know, all the Democrats in the House and all the Democrats in the Senate.
Just like how they held Bipartisan talks regarding the bailout bill...and forgot to invite the Republicans.
Kind of like if we all fart at the same time, it won't smell as bad.
It concerns me too that they intend to legislate "innovation." Kind of an oxymoron.
You ever looked at pictures of her house?
She sure knows how to run a hotel if she sets one up like her house.
Staff gets treated like dirt and paid like dirt but hey . . . Nothing like being third in line to ascend to the presidency!
America! What a concept!
Precisely! This is exactly why Republicans need to STOP trying to be “bi-partisan”!
Sir, That should immediately be a McCain 30 second spot. Perfect
Can’t we all just get along?
I remember when the Republicans didn’t mind being Rick-Rolled into any gutter nearby!
They are pining for the days of minority leader Bob Michel
Pelosi is the poster child for idiocy.
It makes me cringe that we have leaders of this caliber in Washington. The fact that she may actually believe what she says is depressing.
Can't democrats ever tell the truth?
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!
*gasp*

Done.
Calling George Orwell!
LOL. You must admit that the voters get what they deserve by putting these two clueless Marxists (Pelosi/Obama) in charge. Here ‘Bipartisan’ means no opposition. She promised the exact same thing in 2006 and was never called on it. She just Blamed Bush, magic formula, no Bush in 2009 so that wont work anymore with public.
within six months of becoming a supermajority, the approval polls of this bunch will crater at around negative 3. Obama may fall lower than that. Without the “evil Republicans” to blame their problems on any longer, this lot will have a very tough time sustaining any public support that was constructed upon a flimsy foundation of “hope” and “change”.
George Carlin was more correct abot this than he probably ever suspected:
"'Bipartisan' usually means that a larger-than-usual deception is being carried out."
I thought this was from Scrappleface at first.
Anyone stupid enough to believe her should be prohibited from procreating. And beat upside the head with a handful of unboiled of noodles.
Here is what she is really saying. “We know we have a 13% approval rating. We know things are going to be bad and our policies are likely to make them worse. So Republicans get part of the blame while we get to get re-elected.
