ordered it right after he was pushed into the public limelight, and she claims that it wasnt political. Just standard operating procedure.
Ohios inspector general is investigating why a state agency director approved checking the state child-support computer system for information on Joe the Plumber.

If someone is not fire, there is serious corruption in Ohio.
Apparently so
That's the problem. NO ONE will be fired, this is the status of politics in America today. Clinton really broke the door down by using the IRS to investigate gis "enemies" - now it's become a common practice among those who claim the represent "the little guy" or "working Americans".
Rest assured, there is serious corruption in Ohio. No one will be fired.
A felony.
Let’s see if there is anything more than a slap on the wrist.
Couldn’t Joe the Plumber go after these people for invasion of privacy?
Under Obama, it will be.
Let’s let her face the news cameras and answer for herself...or is that racist too? (she is black) I have had it with these underhanded stunts. If I was Joe, I’d consult a lawyer. For starters.
Note to the 'Rats: You've become what you profess to hate. Way to go.
If the previous Republican governor Taft hadn't been such a pansy-RINO, he would have cleaned out some of this stuff. And he would still have a job. Bottom line is the government in Ohio needed cleaning out (just like the federal government) and it didn't get done (also just like the federal government).
And now, with a democRAT in the governor's chair, there's slim chance that anything will be done about the corruption. Ohio is following Michigan's path straight down the toilet.
As it will soon be for any of us who dares question The Fuerher’s absolute infallibility.
Maybe we need a legal defense fund for Joe.
Utterly scary. This kind of thing should send a chill down the spine of all freedom loving people. But the “news” media will not play it up. We’ll see how people like it once the great savior is in power and all their personal privacies are lost.

Delphi worker data is missing - Information from 2,600 former Dayton-area employees removed from unattended laptop.
Dayton Daily News (OH) - Saturday, August 2, 2008
Author: William Hershey Staff Writer
COLUMBUS A flash drive containing the Social Security numbers and other personal information from 2,600 Dayton-area former Delphi workers was removed from the laptop of a state employee that was left unattended and and is now missing.
Helen Jones-Kelley , director of the Job and Family Services department, said on Friday, Aug. 1, that letters have been sent to all those affected. The incident occurred on July 25 in Lebanon, Jones-Kelley said.
The drive included the names, addresses, telephone numbers as well as the Social Security numbers of the workers. Their names were on the drive because of their involvement in a benefits rights training program for workers who might qualify for federal trade adjustment assistance.

The incident occurred despite efforts by state officials to improve security after a backup computer tape was stolen from a state interns car last year. The tape included sensitive personal information from more than a million individuals, businesses and entities such as local governments.
Porker of the Week: Department of Job & Family Services
Last week, ODJFS Director Helen Jones-Kelly asked the Ohio Senate Finance and Financial Institutions Committee to allow families earning 300 percent of the poverty level to buy into the state's Medicaid program.
Snort.
Maybe that theft wasn't about credit card fraud or credit-related identity theft.
Maybe it was about voter fraud.
