There is something really wrong with the input on these polls...could it be other then problems with weighting that maybe people are just being dishonest when polled? Maybe there is a real fear to answer a pollster with McCain support.
This is probably the third or so time I’ve mentioned it today, but I just went into the FR archives and scanned the election 2004 live thread and some of the other ones earlier that day. There was much hand-wringing, wailing, and gnashing of teeth about how it looked bad and Kerry was going to win.
Like then, I think the Republican will poll better on election night than he is in these polls. I don’t know what the hell is going on here, and I must stress that it is possible Obama will win the election, but I do not buy the landslide predictions. Obama will not carry Arizona, nor do I think it will be particularly close.
