by the early voting alone, its 4-5% registered difference, yet pollsters like to weight their polls with insane 7-12% more registered democrats

If it’s not illegal it surely must be counter to the spirit of the law. Releasing these tallies affects the ultimate outcome.

In Zogby poll 15% of Democrats are voting Mccain. The highest of any state polled. Thus, McCain should be ahead...For record McCain will win Florida.

The Duval County Supervisor of Elections shows far more registered Dems and Republicans. However, Bush crushed Kerry in 04 and McCain will crush That One too.

Yeah, but that was regular voting. This is early voting, which went to Kerry in FL to, and tends to favor Democrats because they don’t have jobs.

I feel many of those Dem voters are likely voting McCain.

Exactly...there are four groups of Democrats to consider here...PUMAs, 'Operation Chaos' trojans, Reagan Democrats, and other Democrats opposed to BO...I suspect most of those independents aren't BO supporters, either. We'll see...

I wonder how many of these “Democrats” are operation chaos people who changed their registration to keep Obama in the game?

Is this legal to start counting votes before Nov 4???? what is this???

Not votes, just party ID of the voters. Not to worry, Florida is going McCain.

Well, it was overall voting. But it’s all I had. Someone else (you probably saw, or maybe it was you?) already found a reference with Kerry leading in early voting. I was just curious what the final turnout percentages by party were.

“In Zogby poll 15% of Democrats are voting Mccain. The highest of any state polled. Thus, McCain should be ahead...For record McCain will win Florida.”

This is true, because of so many of the early voters- 53% Dems 30% Reps and 16% Other, which works out to a 3.87% lead..so far...That lead will not hold...Fla is a red state-somewhere between tan and sunburn..

Never understood this early voting. Maybe someone can explain.

Convenience.

We usually go to the polls on election day, but this year I know I have to travel that day so we voted early (this last Saturday).

In 2004 exit polls showed FL percentages were 41% GOP, 37% Dem, 23% Indie.

in the early voting? i'm pretty sure that's what the poster was asking about...

Why are you assuming that all democrats are voting for Jeremiah Wright apprentice?

I am not. I just posted an article. I have little doubt McCain is up slightly now and will be up more on election day.

That headline is misleading, if not flat out wrong.

How can anyone know 0bama is +3.88%? I really don’t believe every single dem is voting for the 0. Also, what about the independents?

Then why the title that says that Obama is up 80K votes? A rather misleading title.
