Murtha was not calling the people in the "T" racist rednecks. He was calling the Reagan Democrats who live in W PA where his district is racist rednecks. The "T" is the mostly rural part of PA including the counties running across the top of the state and down the center that are reliably Republican and conservative. Santorum is saying that McCain is getting far less of the traditional Republican vote than he should.

That’s ridiculous. Murtha slandered all white people who may vote against Obama, and he spoke about Pennsylvania as a whole.

I don’t know that Santorum “shot himself in the foot.” He was the # 1 target of the far left to take down and they spent 4 yrs. in a daily trashing of him in local papers, etc., to accomplish it and destroy him. I do think that he has access to the polls that Republican campaigns do for their own purposes. Even though he doesn’t like McCain, I’m sure he would rather see him win the Presidency than Obama, plus he knows from his experiences the patterns in Republican votes needed statewide to offset the Democrat vote in Philly and the surrounding area.
Go back and read what he said or listen to it. Murtha was talking about W PA, the area around P’burgh, not all of PA.
Murtha slandered all of Pennsylvania in one of his rants. In a few rants he singled out Western PA, in others he slandered the whole state. I have listened to the idiot enough already.
For that matter, he slander all white people and rednecks.

I live in W PA and read the local papers that he talks to since his district is here. I did not see him talk about PA politics in general, only this part of the state in regard to the Presidential race. Perhaps I missed some article that was carried elsewhere, but unless you can provide a link to where he trashed ALL of PA as racist, I will continue to believe you are mistaken.
Santorum shot himself when he abandoned Pat Toomey. Did I say he does not like McCain? That was not strong enough, Santorum HATES McCain and has said so. Having said that, I agree that McCain is not going to win PA. Nonetheless, he has forced Obama to spend more time there.

Please vote for Murtha and Obama, if you’d like their brand of race motivated socialism in Washington.
I'm not interested in re-fighting that battle again, but that was the LEAST of Santorum's problems in losing the last election. Everyone who held against him his not backing Toomey forgot that he NEVER would have won his first Senate race had it not been for Specter, and thus, he OWED Specter.
I don’t listen to Hannity, so perhaps you’re correct. If Hannity played the clip, it must have come from someplace as I’m certain Murtha never appeared in person on his show. Every clip I’ve seen, and every article I’ve read where Murtha is quoted or speaking himself, he is referring to the people in W PA. No need to get nasty especially since you’re unable to provide a link.
In order to believe there will be NO Bradley effect, you would have to believe that racism has indeed ended COMPLETELY in this country. I don’t believe it, and neither do the Obots. Fact is, there are going to be MANY crossing party lines and voting against the black candidate. That’s how it is...

If you can’t provide a link to Murtha SAYING what you claim he said, then I guess our conversation has ended since you’re unable to provide ANY proof for your claim.
