If you watch CNN or MSNBC for political news you’re already an Obama supporter. Either that or you have a very high threshold for pain (in which case another night of Obama praise will not sway you)
catpuppy, don’t give up hope. In 1980 I defied my mother and voted for Jimmy Carter after she insisted I think smart and vote for Ronald Reagan!! Well, mother knows best and I finally came around even if it took 9/11 to turn me into a Republican. I’ll never forget my mom was right.
Zogby wakes up in the morning to read the news and other polls to decide how much special sauce he want to apply to his silly daily poll.
And now let us pause our nightly scheduled remarks: “Zogby sucks,” “Who cares what that idiot says,” etc.
And there’s a good chance that those remarks are correct. But what I’m happy about is not Zogby alone, but the general trend among all the national trackers: None posted gains for Obama on 10/27; all results were either flat or gains for McCain, including solid gains for Mccain in the 2 trackers with the biggest sample sizes - +3 on Rasmussen, and +2 on Gallup (traditional model.) (And: With the new Zogby 10/28 result, Obama will now likely drop some distance from 50% on the average of the national trackers.)
So I think there are real grounds for optimism.
So, in less than a week, Zogby goes from Obama+12 to Obama+4. Sure. It was never Obama+12.
Same here with my 19 year old. However, she got pissed at me when I asked her to protest Obama when he speaks at JMU tomorrow.
Generally a convention speech is a closing argument to vote for the person.. I don’t things are well for Obama imho if he has to do this.

I bet the truth coming out about his socialism is causing the turning of the tide. We didn’t get the biggest GDP by about 9 trillion dollars over the next largest (Japan at 4, US 13) with socialism. The boomers will be educated enough to know this. The Xers, however, haven’t learned anything in public education other than to look for their entitlements.

This assumes Obama repeals Bush tax cut and you know he will if he gets in. Her little freinds will be paying a lot more in taxes if the Messiah Furher wins.
ABC (Disney) is not going to carry Obambi. My guess is they know the Disney parks will have a lot fewer people there when Obama has the Supreme Court engage in redistribution of wealth. Also no one will have money for those overpriced Diney videos at Christmastime.
