I've kicked that around on another thread. I don't see any Jews in America going to any camps any time soon. They have too much wealth, influence, and power, plus the ACLU and a bunch of others on their side. Ain't gonna happen. Nor should it. Skinhead types are the only thing thing they need fear now which is justified, sadly. Israel is a different matter entirely.
Christians? Conservative ones perhaps, who do we have on our side that wouldn't happily be rid of us? Not the liberal mainstream ones, they'd be right in there because we're blocking their progressive agenda.
Whites? Don't wanna go there.
Troublemakers? What kind of troublemakers?
We had work project project programs during FDR. Don't remember any objections. Some were glad to feed their families. Do I have my history wrong or was rural electrification helped along by that, can't remember it's called w/o looking it up? But that was then.
What worries me is this "civilian national security force". I don't know exactly what he has in mind about that, but it sounds ominous; it doesn't sound innocuous no matter how he spins that one.
We just had an incredible discussion. First my grandson (22) thinks there should be genocide because there are too many people and so on, too many wars. Where are you getting those ideas? What are you reading? Who gets to decide who gets killed? Probably falling on deaf ears, there are many good people in this world still, working hard to make it better, and they aren't necesarily all my religion. I said you sound like a nihilist, go look up Nietze. All we read in the media is negative news because negative news sells.
What am I supposed to do about that? Guess I'll run it by my therapist, think he might be depressed.
Even if I were an atheist, I can't see myself supporting genocide or ethnic cleansing (assuming somebody hasn't fabricated it. We have enough food and resources to sustain the world for now. The problem is mismanagement, forgot the corruption, and it's not all America's fault . . .
Then yesterday we had an argument about police brutality. The way I see it the police are having trouble recruiting decent men w/o a criminal history in these times. I know there some bad apples, but that doesn't mean they are all that way.
The last policeman that showed up at my door about 6 weeks ago was the nicest appearing black man, about 1:30 am responding to my call of possible shots fired and a huge crash that didn't sound like a car crash (heard enough of what those sound like). I wasn't afraid of him at all. Of course, I have to rely on intuition, and he's very likely an Obama supporter, but well, we'll see what happens.
Perhaps President BO will mandate that all who voted against him be forced to take college courses where they will be re-educated in the correct way of thinking. Those who don't pass the courses will be given high dose Ritalin patches or other mind enhancing drugs or surgery until their mental disturbance abates.
