Why are the local taxes going up and up? The services stink. Now we are going to get screwed on the Federal level even more. The State has been picking our pockets taking more and more. A bunch of crooks are at work here.
This is a shake down!

Our taxes on our house come to $12,000 per annum. 3-bedroom, 2-car attached garage split level with large kitchen, large family room and finished basement. IIRC when we first moved in the annual taxes were in the neighborhood of $4,000. That was in 1981.

Wanna hear something dumb? I got a letter from the town i live in.
They wanna rise 911 calls to $1.49 instead of 99 cents. They claim that’s what pays for Police and Firemen. They say if the people in town say no to the increase, my property taxes are going up.

I so appreciate it, dear lady! Things are slowly improving at my plant, even with all the people losing their homes, and me working so many extra shirts, to fill-in for them, so we don’t collapse.
Thanks for Mr Levin, you and FR! There’s a bunch of us who rely upon you all, to keep us on-track, and stable, thru this darned mess, FF. God Bless America!
