Obama lovers will shrug this off. If they listened to it, it could anger them.
I would have an attractive 30 something well dressed black man, sitting in his living room, shutting off the TV with the remote.
With a shake of his head he sighs. He leans forward, elbows on knees, hands folded. He says to himself, “I still have many questions about Barack Obama”.
Then he looks straight at the camera in a “person to person” manner, launches into what his main concerns about where we are in the country are -1, 2, 3, 4. (Jobs, high taxes, inflation, national security,)
Then with a smile and a decisive nod of his head, he says, “It still isn’t too late to vote for John McCain.
McCain has a proven record. I think McCain will be better for the country”.
His smile widens as he opens both hands in an inviting gesture.
Fades out to appropriate music.
I think this would have more appeal to an Obama voter. Iy is not combative. He would identify with it, and it plants questions in his mind.
What do you think?
It’s surely much better than having McCain on screen with his preaching tone. It’s probably a generational gap, but I think sometimes McCain does sound like an old grandpa patronizing the yooth.
