Does anyone know the box office amount for American Carol compared to W?

American Carol has taken in $6.9 million against a budget of $20 million. W. has taken in $18.7 million against a $25-$30 million budget.

Americans are interested in Iraqi war movies, just not ones that lie about what our troops do. Show our American troops fighting for Iraqi freedoms and Iraqi people and they will sell. Just not the anti American crap they’ve come out with so far.

Just got back from seeing Fireproof.

Awesome and successful movie.

Very satisfying for me to see the good ones succeed and the liberal ones fail.

Did anyone see that American Carol?

It was pretty good. Some parts were hilarious, others were duds.

It's amusing, but not a Great Movie by any measure. I'd give it 3 out of 5 stars.

American Carol will recoup after it’s out on DVD. Rentals and sales will more than make up the shortfall. My husband and I rarely see movies in the theaters. It’s too expensive. I’m sure we aren’t the only ones.

Too bad it wasn’t a jagged-ey edged, cantaloupe sized one.

You are on to something there! Where can we get some financing?

-- why isn't the public interested in Iraq war movies?

Well, I would be. But in this particular one, James Brolin plays the Bush character. James Brolin is married to Barbra Streisand.

That says it all.

I watched it on a DVD rental today.

It’s definitely a hit piece attempt by Oliver Stone, but it will leave people admiring George W. Bush.

“W” is a President I voted for twice and am missing more and more; especially now, as the obama disaster thickens.
