INDIANAPOLIS -- Secretary of State Todd Rokita said Monday that his office has found evidence of "multiple criminal violations, including possible state and federal racketeering laws" in connection with fraudulent voter registration applications filed in Lake County...

ACORN up to no good in another state, it seems.

BTW, Lake County is right across the border from Illinois and is essentially part of the Chicago metro area.

Surprise!

Az has a photo id requirement (or two other identifying that must match residence on voter roll).

We have a cut off date for registration also.

I would love to see all the states address this issue after the election.

You have to produce ID for a number of things in everyday life, so why not to vote?

Lake County.

Isn’t that the home of the mayor of Gary, IN?

I remember his crooked face on tv while he was was grinning about the ‘holdup’ in reporting results for Gary. Hillary was desperately waiting for her win while Obama creamed her in NC.

I hope the GOP has a plan for Gary and the votes that don’t come in until after midnight.

Correct. Lake County Indiana should be annexed by Illinois, it's just like Chicago. I'm glad I got out when I did.

The voter fraud doesn't surprise me and I'm glad they found it. Now if Indianapolis's voter fraud can be dealt with as well.......

Indiana has a government issued ID requirement also.....however, in early voting there are no poll watchers. Lake County Indiana is nothing more than spillover from South Chicago. Voting laws have no bearing in this corruption plagued county. Gary Indiana is the murder capitol of Indiana just as South Chicago is the murder capitol of both Illinois and the USA.

AZ allows early voting by mail-in ballot only. I’m not sure exactly what ID requirements you have to go through and how the validity of those are verified.

I’ve always voted the day of the election, but that doesn’t excuse my ignorance of the process here.

The dems here have tried to sabotage this again and again.

If not for the fact that we have a Sec. of State who is a Republican, I don’t think that we would have ever enacted these requirements. (an a gop legislature).

Before, you didn’t have to show ID, but with the large influx of illegal aliens and no requirements, this was dealt with.

Our Sec. of State will become the Gov. if Obama wins and takes Janet with him.

This is bittersweet. Janet would be gone, but she would be on a national scale. She has NOT been a good gov.

We are now experiencing under her helm, a 2 Billion dollar deficit after years of being in the black.

I voted early in Arizona on Friday. You must show a photo ID. I don’t know if there are alternatives to that. You hand over your ID, the poll worker plugs in your name and address into the computer, a label is printed out and placed on an envelope that you must then sign in front of the poll worker(s). A ballot is printed that has all the races in your particular area/zone. You fill out the ballot, place it in the envelope and drop it in the ballot box. It is then opened on election day, I assume. Hubby and I voted on Friday. We had zero waiting in line.

You did?
I went on the state and county sites and didn’t see that you could in person. I thought I read that you could only “drop off a ballot”.
