If it takes 4 years of a failed Obama administration to get 8 years of a Palin administration I think I’d take it.

Let Palin be Palin.

she has decided increasingly to disregard the advice of the former Bush aides tasked to handle her.

With all due respect, Bush's campaign aids are amongst the most incompetent I've ever seen. W should have beaten Frenchy by 8 points, and it was only through Rover's gross incompetence and the allied "handlers" that it was as close as this was. Their tin ear for every statement and issue they've displayed in this campaign has allowed the closest thing this country's seen to Karl Marx in a major candidate to possibly win this election.

There are people who are surrounded by bigots
and know it is wrong, but are afraid to be vocal against it.
These people are going to pull the lever for Obama
and they are not being polled.

Republicans close to Palin said she has decided increasingly to disregard the advice of the former Bush aides tasked to handle her

Advisors give advice, not instructions. Leaders - real leaders - listen to the advice and then make decisions. If Palin was screwing up, we'd all know about it instantly. So we can only conclude that she's acting like a real leader and making good decisions.

If it wasn’t for Sarah Palin, McCain wouldn’t even be close.

It isn’t even in doubt. The convention bounce? Sarah.

Poll numbers dropping like a rock during the bailout? McCain.

Poll numbers creeping back up? Sarah. She makes better speeches, gets more coverage and says more things that matter AND resonate.

I think if McCain wants to win, he needs to make a pronouncement Sunday night saying, “for the good of the country I want to pledge that I’m going to do what is right for the country first, rather than for myself. I want to assure you that I will not worry about poll numbers and reelection. I will do what is good for us for the long term. I pledge today that I will not run for re-election if you grace me with the honor of the Presidency.”

I think you need to lurk a little longer before you post, or you can simply stay at DU. Most of us have been here long enough to recognize dem tactics.

There’s a search function here at Free Republic. This article has been posted TWICE already over the weekend.

During election season we get a lot of newcomers posing as conservatives- normally they post demoralizing articles, so if we wonder about your motives, you’ll understand, won’t you?

Politico has morphed into yet another pro Obama “News” group- they occasionally post a pro McCain or Palin piece to appear fair.

We know better.

Sarah: Good on ya!

“Republican handlers” have yet to see a campaign they couldn’t screw up. It’s about time somebody running for office finally noticed.

All Politico postings should have a barf alert. Politico has its head so far Obama’s butt they have to see out through his navel.

Thanks St. Louis 'Conservative' for once AGAIN posting negative/disruptive 'news'.

Hmmmmmm...'going rogue', the talking point focus of this week? Isn't it surprising that all MSM is NOW 'reporting' of the alleged infighting of the McCain/Palin camps. Going rogue?
Simply amazing how the MSM 'reports' within minutes of each other the same tired focus, the same trail balloon, the same reaching to see if anything negative 'sticks' with the American electorate.

I first noticed this technique in 2000 when all the major networks/cable instantly talked about the 'gravitas' of Governor George Bush. Gravitas, that isn't a word readily utilized in normal conversation. But it was a word utilized CONSTANTLY be every news channel. One only had to flip channels to discern this technique.

In the present campaign, Governor Palin was instantly deemed by the ENTIRE MSM to be only a token female selection. Then Gov. Palin's RNC acceptance speech was deemed acceptable only "because someone else wrote it for her (switching channels, it was instantly discernable that was the 'belief' of all analysis). In Gov. Palin's interview with C. Gibson the focus was on the Bush doctrine, although subsequent revelations set forth that there is not a readily discernable definition of said doctrine. In Gov. Palin's debate with Sen Biden the 'instant MSM analysis was that Gov Palin was just repeating well rehearsed practiced responses. Then last week was the omnipresent coverage of the $150,000.00 wardrobe spent on her family.

There are too many other examples of this nature. Perhaps there are pool reports available to all MSM... AAAAAhhh..wait a sec...isn't that called 'talking points'?

Do you know what SEARCH is — this has been posted over and over again over the weekend and debunked. How much are the Dems paying you to try to disrupt on here? BTW, you can tell them it is not working and no amount of your proclaiming to be a conservative is going to work either.
