The difference being that there was existing federal law that covered that particular circumstance, and specifically makes someone born under his circumstances a natural citizen. McCain's birthplace is what gives Obama the cover of "moral equivalancy".
Frankly, I think the fact that for the first time in our nation's history there is a question as to the citizenship of the primary presidential candidates, and the issue affects both candidates is proof that these candidates were selected by someone pulling our strings.
If Obama’s momma was Dunham and it is accepted that she lived in the US either 10 years before his birth or 5 years before his birth after her aged 14 and that he was born in Hawaii where the GOP governor herself just sealed his Hawaii birth certificate then citizenship is no issue...period.
maybe Odinga is not his daddy or maybe no name listed but unless the governor of Hawaii is lying, he was born there
