The US flag is not displayed by the capital building and/or the audience members are not ‘holding their hearts’. Am I right?

There is a flag on that capitol building, though. Right in front of the dome.

You’re right about the members but not the flag. If you look closer you can see the flag (it looks like a reddish spot at this distance) about halfway down the rotunda.

The flag is there, it’s kinda blurry but it’s there.....Look at the center of the dome just about straight up from the lady’s pocketbook strap.
