Lots of hats on heads while the anthem is being played.
There is a flag on that capitol building, though. Right in front of the dome.

I know. There’s only 50,000 people in that camera frame instead of the 500,000 that were actually there.

Yep, you got it first! I think it is correct, because her expression seems consistent with closing ones eyes and enjoying a piece of music, perhaps even with singing along.
What? Were surprised?
Not me.

Has nothing to do with Criswell? I beg to differ. She needs a shave.

Eula Criswell, of Denver,
listens to the National Anthem...
Patriotism is not a spectator sport.

Obama’s hair is gray again. And not even naturally gray. You start getting gray around the temples first. It looks like he dusted flour all over his head.

not one person had his/her hand over his/her heart for the National Anthem. Good catch.

You’re right about the members but not the flag. If you look closer you can see the flag (it looks like a reddish spot at this distance) about halfway down the rotunda.

She does not know when the ‘early voting’ is scheduled? Not surprising.
I work at a survey research center. Lots of self identified African Americans do NOT know who the guy is running with Obama. “Biden? Is that that white guy???” “Is he running with Obama?” “I am not sure who Obama’s VP running mate is, but I am voting for Obama”
Verbatim and typical answers. Scary
