Two things 1. we are the most giving sharing country in the world. we share our wealth willingly when called to do so and we did so to New Orleans and all the places that have had need. Millions of dollars from compassionate giving people. 2. I AM TIRED OF THE EDITORIALS THAT SEE ONLY THEIR LIBERAL AGENDA. THEY MAY SEE THE LIGHT!!

Item # 2 will save me cash and if I feel like helping my neighbor this winter, I’ll do it my way and the government can chip in some more of what they have of mine and I DON’T NEED TO GIVE MORE - NOBAMA!!!

They also endorese George HW Bush in 1992, and I believe they endorsed Dole in 1996. I don’t recall who they endorsed in 2000 or 2004.

Fellow FReepers, please correct me if I’m wrong, but the Times-Picayune endorsed Bush in 2000 but chose not to endorse either Bush or Kerry in ‘04.

That really doesn't surprise me. They lean Democrat like most media. The good thing is we're fairly RED in the surrounding areas and are not influenced by the TP and New Orleans - what can I say - they voted Nagin back in and I think Bill Jefferson will have a shot because he is running against a Hispanic. No surprises here.
