McCain should "use" the Dow Jones.........
blueyon

Posted on 10/27/2008 4:43:43 AM PDT by blueyon

Dick Morris was just on Fox News and he said "McCain should use the Dow Jones to his advantage". Morris is correct. People are selling off because they are afraid Obama will get in. I for one DO NOT want to pay a higher tax in Capital Gains taxes which Obama wants to do. I feel that the market will be very erratic and go down if Obama wins on Nov 4th. If McCain wins, I feel the markets will stabilize. This week it is about the economy and McCain needs to use it to his advantage. I am not an ordinary Joe the plumber. I am an ordinary Diane the worker who goes to work six days a week. I have opinions like all of us. Please post your opinions of this coming week and points that John and Sarah can use to make their case to America!

Professionals traders "Sell on rumor, Buy on fact". They are selling now on the 'rumor' of an Obama win. When McCain/Palin win, the markets will explode up in a huge relief rally.

I don’t want obama, but there is little McCain can do to fix the economy. Government needs to stay out of it.

I think, for once, Dick Morris is onto something. I believe that the whole erosion of McCain’s support during the financial crisis was due to the investor class getting whaled on: that is mainly senior citizens and married couples in the suburbs. These people have already seen their home values plummett and now their 401k’s have plummetted.

McCain would do well to re-persuade this class to join him.

Dick Morris also talked about a commercial to be run about Jeremiah Wright and gave a website to donate to help run the ad. Did anyone catch that website?

I wonder why you believe that the market would worry about this when the first time Obama will get his hands on the budget or anything else is 2010. The 2009 budget is completed. The taxes are the same until 2010. Why would the market worry about it now?

Boy are you wrong.

Don’t you remember Clinton and his retro active tax increase on the “wealthy” when he got into office????

Taxes can be increased today.

Those who actually pay taxes know quite well about clinton’s retro tax.

Also there is a gut check going on here.

OBAMA IS CAUSING MARKET PANIC.
OBAMA=TAXES

this is not the carter years when 30 year treasuries gave 7% and the market only gave 3%.

If anything obama is trying to push money into zero adjusted for inflation yiels so the government would have the money.

It is LITTLE WONDER the market is panicing in order to move the money out.

The World knows on a daily basis that Mr. Obama is going to be elected.

The concern is palpable.

Americans, who should be the first to know and connect the dots here, may end up being the last.

Electing this man is going to crash the US stock market for good, the reprecussions worldwide will be enormous.

And there, finally, "The World" will have it's President they have always wanted (the elites at least, particularly Europe). And worldwide recession.

Irony of ironies.

CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE.

The media continues to “talk the market down”. This helps Obama. If Obama wins the media will stop the morning gloom and doom of what the days market will look like and the sell off will ease. The media is creating a good share of the panic to aide Obama.

We need to go to war over the media and if the republicans don’t take a stand soon against the MSM it is over for all of us on the right. It is just unbelievable what the media has gotten away with this election.

I agree. At the very least no one can argue that the markets are believing that the Messiah is coming. I think they fear the Messiah and his band of Democrat robbers who will steal the wealth of producers and give it to non producers.

Tie the market to the most widely disseminated polling results. I’ll bet it mirrors Obama’s results; he’s up, it’s down.

Dick Morris said the commercials were about Wright. I can’t find one about J. Wright at GOPTrust.com.

What can I tell ya?

That is the site Morris talked about.

You are correct about the absense of any reference to Wright.
