American helicopters flying from Iraq landed inside Syria yesterday and dropped special forces who killed eight people, the Damascus government said last night, as Washington admitted it had targeted "foreign fighters."
Syria warned that it held the US "wholly responsible for this act of aggression and all its repercussions".
It described the dead as Syrian civilians, five of them members of the same family. Syrian state television reported that the attack was against a farm near Abu Kamal, five miles from the Iraqi border. Doctors in nearby al-Sukkariya said another seven people were taken to hospital with bullet wounds.

I'm sure that they went in for evidence. They would have used missiles from drones otherwise. The only reason to go in would be to collect evidence. The article says the town was surrounded by Syrian troops. What were they protecting? UBL? WMD? The army found 5 chemical warheads a few days back.

The International Crisis Group (ICG) is a George Soros controlled "think-tank" that gave him a Founders Award. He is on the board as are Samantha Power and Zbigniew Brzezinski. We have wrtten about these two figures in the past at American Thinker. Power has said on separate occasions that she will serve in an Obama Administration. Not buying it. If a joint SEAL/Delta Force team did this there would be no survivors in this type of raid. The object is to kill all involved since there is no report they took any prisoners it clearly was a cleaning operation. The other possibility is that the causalities were faked OR were hit by their own spray and pray idiots.
