I’ll also add that there’s no reason to believe that the 10-20% of German Jews who refused to leave Germany didn’t stay because they liked Hitler or felt they could create a “rapprochement.” I think you just made that up. If Hitler came to power in the US, I think you’d find that a lot of good people would rather die than leave their country behind.

I’d get myself and my family out of here - and the 90% of the Jews you mentioned earlier felt the same way in the 1930’s about Germany.
