McCain used to be moderately popular in California, and Arnold supports him.
I suspect that in a lot of the state, it’s socially unacceptable to say that you’re voting for McCain, so people will just keep their mouths shut and cast their vote in secret. I’m not sure the polls reflect what’s going to happen.
Not all of California is Blue. Los Angeles and San Francisco are. McCain will carry San Diego and the inland counties along the Nevada border along with Ventura and SB counties and the northern coast north of Marin.
You are right. Ventura paper already endorced McCain.
Don’t forget Orange County, which is the most conservative county in the state.
