Maybe we’re going to move in. Syrians are rebuilding their nuclear facility, aren’t they?
Good.
Love that line! Ryslexia Dules.
Now, if they can just fire a missile into that stash of WMD’s that are warehoused in Syria...then, you would have quite an October Surprise!
If true very good. Better late than never.
I agree with you, could very easily change campaign focus....if they were indeed US. Maybe should do it again just to make sure....
Hope this is a big enough development to put Obama’s speech tomorrow on the back burner and also for Bush to lead or follow Obama’s paid air time on Tues. night with an announcement of his own.
Wouldn’t that be sweet?
If this is true and you factor in Biden’s and Powell’s comments about an upcoming crisis, there is an obvious major threat we are facing.
Either Al-Qaeda big wig or Al Duri.
Seems odd, in that with geopositioning, the American military would know where it is at all times.
why even risk troops? Just rain down hellfires like in Pakistan. Unless there was some excellent HUMINT that is....
Drudge has the sirens in full force on this headline, I was waiting for a sirens story for a long time, can’t remember the last big one. As somebody aptly said, pray for our troops, if Syria responds this could get ugly.
The MSM will say “Biden fortells the future”....
Thank you President Bush!!
He is a credit to our country folks, God Bless President Bush!!!

“US strike helicopters have attacked targets in Syria, near the Iraq border, Channel 10 reported on Sunday night.
Western defense officials told the television channel that US troops were carrying out a military operation against global Jihad activists in Syria.
Syria’s official news agency SANA, said that the Bou Kamal border area, in eastern Syria was attacked, but did not identify the helicopters.
According to the Channel 10 report, four US military helicopters attacked a home in a small town by the Iraqi-Syrian border.
Reuters quoted residents as saying that a house was targeted, and that seven men - a man and his four sons, and two bystanders - were killed.
US soldiers apparently disembarked from one of the helicopters, carried out a search in the town, and left the area.”

Two to four United States helicopters attacked Syria, near the Iraqi border, Sunday evening, killing at least seven people. The site was near the target Israel bombed last year.
Foreign media reported that residents in the village of Al-Sukkariya, east of Damascus and about five miles from the border, saw seven dead bodies and four wounded men being rushed to a clinic. Syrian government news agencies confirmed the attack. A private Syrian television channel reported that nine men died and 14 were injured
Two of the helicopters reportedly landed in the village, where eight American soldiers jumped out and carried out the operation. The soldiers quickly returned to the helicopters, and all of the craft left the scene.
It was the first time the U.S. has attacked on Syrian land.
American military spokesperson Sergeant Brooke Murphy said official are investigating the report.
The targets reportedly were construction workers and were civilians. Israel reportedly attacked the area last September, and most reports indicated that the target was a nuclear site under construction.
On the opposite side of the country, Syria is building troops on the Lebanese border. Looks like something is cooking.
Local residents in a Syrian border town said that American forces killed seven men in a helicopter-borne commando attack inside Syrian territory. State-run TV later raised the number of dead to nine.
Doctors in the town of Al-Sukkariya, some eight kilometres from the Iraqi border, said seven corpses and four wounded had been delivered to a nearby clinic after the attack.
The eyewitness accounts said that four helicopters were involved in the operation, with two of the helicopters landing in the town and eight American soldiers disembarking. The eyewitnesses said that the seven killed men were supposedly construction workers.
Afterwards, the US helicopters then left Syrian airspace with all the soldiers again on board.

This must be very big indeed when the Israelis bombed Sryia’s Nuke program they said nothing about it.
I’m willing to bet it was more than a couple of helos nor a random target. Someone or even something big got snatched.
