Never have I ever seen a display of disgusting vile grafitti
Twenty-five residents of a Gainesville neighborhood woke up this morning to discover their homes had been spray-painted with an obscene comment about the 2008 presidential race. Several businesses were hit as well.
“This is clear voter intimidation,” Corey A. Stewart, At-Large Chairman of the Prince William Board of County Supervisors, said. “The residents targeted by these hoodlums all had McCain for President yard signs in their front yards.”
“Having your home defaced with obscenity because of political beliefs is a hate crime” Stewart said, “This is terrorizing the community.”
Saw it myself last night - spraypainted in 8 foot letters on the side of a brand new restaurant. “Fuck McCain” Nice - not to mention stupid. This area of Virginia is heavily republican with a multitude of hunters. If the pranksters keep this up, someone is going to get hurt quite badly
This is not a college town, but a fairly quiet suburban area, very stable population, somewhat upscale, very few minorities or immigrants. One small apartment complex, largely houses in the 350-500k area. I’m at a loss as to whom the perpetrators would be.
It was in the WaPo this am, as well on the local radio stations
Consider this; The MSM is in it’s death throws. Newspapers are laying people off. Their stocks are falling, circulation is down.
What is the DemonRat answer to a failing industry that they need? Nationalize it. Take it over and own it.
Can anyone think of a country that owns the media sources? China, Russia, Venezuela, Iran, Syria........................!
How would you know if their 1st Amendment Rights have been taken? Fairness Doctrine? Control of the Internet like China, and Iran have done?

Funny, I don't recall asking the state's permission.
My 222lb. Bull Mastiff dog usally speaks loud enough for everyone to hear but should he not my Mossberg 590 12ga. does.
OK, thank you. I take it that “local” means the VA papers. Interesting.
Well, local papers around here are weekly to semi-weekly, so there wouldn’t be a report about it. The WaPo covers MD, DC, and VA and reaches a large area, it was reported this morning. The news stations in the area - again, they reach a similar footprint to WaPo was reporting the incident in their regular news cycle, where the major stories repeat every half hour. I did a quick search of the WashTimes but didn’t see it. The story could be buried in a section I didn’t search
I checked the local talk radio website just out of curiousity (wmal.com). They had a little blurb about “homes were vandalized,” no info about the number of homes (25), the nature of the incidents, the fact that all the homes had McCain signs out front, the fact that this is serious and costly damage to garage doors, siding, brick and the Virginia Oaks community sign.
What do you expect from the supporters of the first half-white Presidential candidate?
Nothing is worth NOT defeating Obama.
That said, my point was there are probably millions of Americans, many of them white, who never gave one thought to how certain segments of our society might act of Obama loses.
IOW, they thought they were doing a great thing for race relations by voting for The One, when in fact they may have helped set the stage for something very ugly, dangerous, divisive and destructive.
RE: “The followers of Obama are the BEST reason not to vote for him.”
***********
I have been saying this since Obama announced intent to run for CIC. Look for more of this down the road and if he is “elected,” his followers will feel so empowered that we may never recover.
While the punks that did this need to receive the Singapore justice system’s medicine for the behavior, I also believe that you are more right than you were implying.
I have no doubt that Satan is “backing” Obama - in so many ways and on so many levels.
Keep your powder dry...
