A New York-based organization has sent copies of a movie about Islamist extremism to more than 28 million houses and religious institutions in presidential election battleground states over the past several weeks...
Members of several Muslim groups have condemned the film, saying that it is inflammatory and that it could incite violence against them.
"It's a mind-boggling massive campaign. When you send material like this almost exclusively to presidential swing states that sends a message that you are trying to influence the election," said Ibrahim Hooper, a spokesman for the Washington-based Council on American-Islamic Relations. "It's inappropriate as a nonprofit for the Clarion Fund to do...."

I don’t think it’s targeted at battleground states. My realtives in California got it,too.
Insulting=inciting, need more coffee...
I watched it last night and it lays bare the fact that we are in a all-out war, where one side, the radical, jihadists want to destroy our way of life, civilization, freedom, and as many of us as they can.
...and they are planning just that and are in it for the long term unless we stop them.
All Americans should see this film which is what the producers are attempting.
When they do, the absolute majority will then weigh very carefully who they vote for.
I downloaded it from a P2P site myself....
I think it needs to be said that those who object to this film are the ones who are anti muslim.
Islamic radicals kill more muslims than any other force or power in the world today. Islamic radicals have proven they are willing to kill any subgroup of muslims in order to hold power over others.
The refusal to speak honestly about their fascism is anti muslim.
Is today "Opposite Day" or something? It's the rest of the world that has to worry about Muslims committing violent acts against anyone who isn't Muslim, not the other way around.
Did they do this by sending the DVD in the mail?
I have often thought of how a candidate could get around the lame-stream-media and without giving away my ideas, this comes close. Very interesting tactic....
That give me hope, I may find one in my mail in AL when I get home from Sweden in time to vote.
Perfect comparison! Have seen Obsession and it scares me. I wish it was mandatory for every American. It in no way damns all Muslim—ones who hate the radical Islam are speaking in it!
“When you send material like this almost exclusively to presidential swing states that sends a message that you are trying to influence the election”
Gosh! that’s terrible! /S
Mrs. Slim got a copy. Being unfamiliar with it she aksed if we whould watch it with dinner. I told her that might not be the best idea.
I’ve seen the DVD (sent to one of my “kids”) and really got nothing new from it.
You know, I can’t stand Obama either but I don’t get the people who constantly show pictures of him in native costume.
It doesn’t make any sense to me.
McCain is of Scottish ancestry, so, should we constantly show pictures of him wearing a kilt?
When president Bush went to China, he dressed in a traditional Chinese costume. Does that mean he’s a Chinese communist now?
LOL! I wonder what clued them in on such an insightful observation?
Believing in nonviolent moderate Muslims is not a popular belief I. These parts, FRiend
Does that mean hes a Chinese communist now?
He seems to agree with them more than he does with conservatives.
Trying to influence the election?
Like the biased reporting favoring ‘Ohno’ in the news media?
