John McCain has read the riot act to members of his own campaign staff for their defeatist attitude, making clear that they must join him in fighting all out to win the presidential election.
Mr McCain has now rolled out a defiant new stump speech in Colorado, where he roused a 5,000 strong crowd with a call to arms, making clear that if he is to go down, he will go down fighting.

Whatever the truth, I want the names of those who ran such a horrible campaign made public so all future republican office seekers can avoid them like the plague. Horrible strategy, horrible tactics, and non-existent street-level political instincts.
NICE! Thank you!
I know you guys are well informed.(why the heck am i saying you guys, I am you guys) I was just getting wound up I need to calm down. such statements I made could result in bannation, since “troll” was tossed about real quickly. I will tear myself away from the mccain threads and save the snide remarks for the obama ones.
**GRABS EARS OF FREEPERS AND FORCES THEM TO LOOK BACK TO THE ISSUE UNDER DISCUSSION**
“We request that you return to the previous serious issues that were under discussion.”
“Just what was it we were discussing?”
So, why does McPain have “defeatist” aides anyway. Is he trying to imitate Bob Dole?
I admire your faith in the American people. I have seen no evidence to justify it.
Pay attention here: McCain was not a fighter pilot. He flew the A-4 Skyhawk. Not a fighter. Got that?
Yes, McPain is so much like his friend Dole: leaving ammunition unused on the table as the campaign gets down to eight days remaining. Some Republican never learn, including Republican primary voters.
Maybe they are, like C. Powell and David Brooks the journalists, plants for Oprah’s Obama. Maybe McPain wants to be remembered in history for his graceful loss on November 4.
/ a needed break from politics...
Sounds like he wants to get the message out that he—along with his fellow maverick—is breaking out from the caains of their campaign consultants. And not a minute too soon!
He’s fine with letting Sarah be Sarah, and he wants to be McCain being McCain right there beside her.
Good for him, that’s exactly what Sen. McCain needs to do.
This particular campaign is not even about the candidate, it’s about the country. As Mark Steyn wrote, quoting Dr. Thomas Sowell ... if Obama wins we have reached the point of no return. This is NOT Carter II. We will have gone down the road of socialism too far to extract ourselves.
If the McCain staffers have time to talk with the media about internal fighting, they are not doing their jobs and should resign or be fired.
Yeah, it's my new favorite flavor! :-D
Well, I like to see him champing at the bit like this and blowing steam out of his nostrils as he moves to the outside to pass, coming into the final turn and all, but not long ago he was talking like Hussein would make a good President, was a decent family man, wasn’t dangerous, etc, etc., when supporters at rallies expressed concern about Hussein basically being an anti-American raghead(which he indeed IS).

Bravo! Name names. Make them famous.
well that’s closer to being a fighter pilot than I will ever be.
