Oh my, how very sad. Prayers for her family and friends. It’s hard to believe how awful some people can be.
As Gil Grissom would say, that was pure rage. Probably someone close to her.
Oh this is horrible. Do they have any idea who attacked this woman, or why?
I just feel so bad for her mother.
If I hadn’t started hanging out here at FR, I wouldn’t even know about this.

Really rough. I guess we will have to wait to find out what really happened. The Burglary claim sounds like a police misdirection.
I just read another article that said she was sedated because of her brain swelling. They had just started lessening the amount. No. She hadn’t spoken.
For me, it hit personally. My young, beautiful, intelligent daughter is also a TV news anchor. I pray diligently for her safety always.
There are alot of strange, scary people in the world.
That she played the part of Ann Coulter in “W” should be an angle investigators should look into.
Prayers up for the family. What a beautiful young girl. This sounds horrible. I did not read the initial story, but I will go search the archives for it. Ghastly.
My neighbors beautiful daughter is also a news anchor. Several years ago, in N.Dakota, of all place, she was beaten and almost raped by a stalker. Thankfully someone heard her screams. She is now on the news in the Naples,Fl. area.
Greta, or maybe Nancy Grace, had someone on saying that her door was not locked and there was no sign of forced entry.
I understand her two cocker spaniels were found outside, I wonder if she opened her door to let them out to potty and someone pushed their way in; everything I’ve read said there was no sign of forced entry... and her poor mother finding her that way.. it is bad enough to lose your child, but to have that you final memories of her... this is such a violent world anymore.
This is a terrible thing to happen, and of course the liberals don’t want women to arm themselves and learn how to use their weapons. More a**hats being shot by women would soon lower this type of crime.
All along they were saying that they thought she’d recover but I was fearful that it might’ve been a smoke screen. It’s so tragic; KATV has gone through a lot the past couple of years, losing Paul Eels, the acclaimed voice of the Razorbacks and now this very beautiful, talented young lady, too.
I pray that her parents will receive comfort in this time of terrible sorrow.
They only did that to imply that an angry Right Winger attacked her for being in the anti Bush movie.

That is an ominous prediction. It says that she’s better off than we who are left behind to face an uncertain future.
