FROM Wikipedia...William Weld has a sense of humor about his background; when Massachusetts Senate president Billy Bulger publicly teased him about his ancestors having come over on the Mayflower, Weld rose on the dais with a correction: "Actually, they weren't on the Mayflower. They sent the servants over first to get the cottage ready."....Obama's kind of people.

Weld, a Republican, said he has never endorsed a Democrat for president before, but in the last six weeks or so, it became “close to a no-brainer.”

And you Weld have No-Brains, if you did, you would see that Obama is a MARXIST!!

Now is the time to identify all these people. McCain is a hardass about getting stabbed in the back. They will be persona-non-grata. If Sarah turns them into mice, they are not reliable.

Does anyone have a list of influential people as well as media that support McCain/Palin? I sure would love to see the list. I am getting so fed up with the MSM only talking about who supports Obama.

You guys have a very naive view of the politics (and the social life) of Northeastern elites. Weld did not endorse Obama out of some spineless desire to remain in favor with the limousine liberal crowd; his social position is secure enough he can endorse whomever he wants. Rather, he endorsed Obama because he is fairly liberal on a number of issues, and because the Republican party has done a great deal to alienate the “country club” crowd that used to strongly support it by focusing on social issues and the war instead of fiscal and business issues.

Voting for Weld, a so called Republican, over Silber an avowed Democrat was my biggest political blunder. Weld appointed Margaret Marshall to the Massachusetts Supreme Court who ushered in homosexual marriage. Now he supports a socialist?

I though Silber was too autocratic. In hindsight, that's what this State needs to rein in the rascals.

Weld lived up to the trust fund bay standards of screwing the middle-class social standards.

Conclusively showing......

......RINOs are not Republicans, at least they aren't what a Republican was and should be.

Someday the conservatives will wake up and kick these people out of the party. They need to tear down that big tent! Otherwise there will always be back stabbers. I’d rather have 30 solidly conservative senators than 51 with 21 of them rino’s.

“stroked just right.”

Hmmm...I think their bandwagoneers who could not care less about who is running. No beliefs, no ideology, just lickspittle show ponies trying to get on the gravy-train.

“It’s not often you get a guy with his combination of qualities, chief among which I would say is the deep sense of calm he displays, and I think that’s a product of his equally deep intelligence,” he said.

Wow. What a ringing endorsement. I remember when I got my credit card bill last month and saw what my wife had spent. My "deep sense of calm" was amazing! I also remember when she wrecked my car. Twice. I never once yelled. My voice was very soothing.

I was also salutatorian of my high school class, and had a 3.80 average when I graduated from college. Maybe I should've run for President.

“citing Obama’s “deep sense of calm” and “first-class political temperament.””

What a load this is!! I have never been so excited for our party. This is just the start of the house cleaning!!

See ya RINOs!!

OK What does Obama have on these RINO’s

This is just too close to Clinton’s machine of blackmail and destruction for anyone who crossed their paths.

Maybe the Toon’s are lending it to Obama in exchange for some back door power?

“deep sense of calm” and “first-class political temperament.”

A sleep-walker has a “deep sense of calm” too, and Joe Stalin had a “first class political temperament”, but what in the &^%$#@ does that have to do with being President of the United States?!?!?!?

Weld can put aside:

(1) Frank Marshall (Obama’s childhood mentor and a member of the Communist Party USA),

(2) Obama’s 20-year association with Reverend Jeremiah Wright (pastor who preaches a variant of the Marxist Liberation Theology known as Black Liberation Theology),

(3) Obama’s decades long association with the unreformed Weather Underground and SDS radical William Ayers,

(4) Obama’s original, and ongoing political memberships and associations with the Chicago based “New Party” of radical socialists and the Democratic Socialists of America,

as though they can have no concern for “Republican” Weld, and instead go for “calm” and political savvy.

Mr. Weld. I know Republicans and you were obviously never a Republican.

He continues to destroy the MassGOP. I never thought he would stoop to this though, endorsement of a Democratic Presidential Candidate. Though I was certain he understood he was more liberal than 99.8% of Republicans, I always thought in his soul, he actually believed he was a Republican. Apparently, not. The divorce, living in NYC, drinking lots of ale, and being a RINO wuss has gotten to him. RIP to the 1990 Bill Weld, Republican Revolutionary of Massachusetts... I was certainly decieved (thought not for the past 15 years or so...)
