Florida TV reporter Barbara West asked hard hitting questions of Joe Biden in an interview broadcast yesterday.
Biden was shocked when asked if Obama's spread the wealth plan was Marxist.
The four minute interview was not the typical softball CNN-MSNBC-ABC-CBS-NYT-LAT-WAPO-AP questions.
The Orlando Sentinel reports the Obama campaign was furious at West and called her "unprofessional" and "combative".
Biden also specifically denied Obama's plan was to "spread the wealth," a direct contradiction of what Obama famously told Joe the Plumber.

It’s such a bummer that the media doesn’t ask tough questions of both sides just for the drama factor alone. Can you imagine news ratings if reporters spoke of half of what is reported on FR daily? OMG...I’d never leave the couch or stop popping popcorn!
Regardless of how it plays in the MSM, that interview by West just won Florida for McCain.

However, if Ms. West is used to jogging, she might try facing oncoming traffic for the next few months and minding the traffic a bit...cars have a way of glancing off of female joggers (especially Congresswomen and reporters) these days and not stopping even when they’re flung to the ground with broken bones.

I can understand your skepticism since it is so unusual to see a reporter ask straight forward questions to a democrat. Obviously biden wasn’t expecting it.
Thank you for this incredible post. I cannot tell you how great it felt to see Barbara West ask the tough questions to Plugs that have not been asked by others in the MSM.
I sent an e-mail to the GM expressing my thanks to Ms. West, as well as kudos for the segment.
I sent Barbara West an e-mail, and her bosses at WFTV as well. Everyone should do the same — I suggested they give the lady a raise as she deserves it!!!
