They are attracted to the ticket because Biden reminds them so much ot the Mayberry gaffemeister, Barney Fife.

So very sorry to hear this. Ron Howard and Henry Winkler are two of the friendliest, kindest people around. I don't know that much about Andy Griffith, other than we have liked him in many movie and TV roles.

Unfortunately, I will no longer be able to look at any of them in quite the same way. Anyone voting for Obama is on my permanent, irrevocable $hitlist. Too bad.

The Andy Griffith in his prime would abhor the political views of Andy Griffith and Ron Howard of today.

Ron Howard, or Opie, was part of making the film DaVinci Cr@p, which attacked Christians and Christian Beliefs.

Enough said...

Just another fruitcake in Hollywood la-la-land...

I met Ron Howard many years. He filmed a movie (Cotton Candy) at my high school in Dallas when I was 16 back in the mid 70s.

I don’t agree with him politically, but he was a very nice guy. He took pictures with all of us high school students. He was patient and nice when we were all star struck. He would actually talk to us. He never yelled or got mad at anyone. He was much nicer then the main star, Charlie Martin Smith.

I really think they came off looking rather idiotic. But it is getting close to Halloween.

Yup. There is not now and never was any such a thing as the silly Happy Days or a Mayberry. Very shortly after the early Mayberry shows, they quit including any sort of “going to church” scenes. The idea that “Andy” waited until Opie was a teenager almost to even do any “courting” of Helen Crump, and then courted her for five years (?) before they finally got married is just plain LAME. The foolish character, Barney Fife, wouldn’t have been retained as a deputy by any responsible sheriff, some innocent citizen would have been shot with Fife’s one bullet.

“Opie” was a figment of our imagination, too. Sadly.

For “Andy” to support such a commie ringer as Obama to run this country is ludicrous.

“Fonzie” ? Not surprised.

Happy Days after the second season had to be the worst show ever on tv. I’ve seen better cartoons than that. I don’t understand how Howard allowed himself to be associated with it as long as he did considering as far as actors go he and Tom Bosley were probably the best ones on it. The pay must have been real good.

I’m willing to bet a prime rib dinner that Opie makes over $250,000 annually.
Wonder how much money he plans on being taxed if his hero gets elected???

I’d love to know how these lefty rich hollywood types are going to shelter their money against Obama’s new tax policies. Guarantee they won’t pay any more in taxes than they did under Bush.

I didn’t like the movie he made at my school, but it was fun being an extra in it.

I don't doubt that they think they're doing the right thing, and aside from Ron Howard's crack about the moose, I didn't find it vulgar, either in substance or style. At least they showed a little class in their presentation. That said, I am more than a little disappointed that they can't see things for what they are. There's more than enough information out there and it's right at your fingertips, literally.

Sad state of affairs when this country doesn't recognize infanticide, suppression of free speech, intimidation of private citizens and businesses, voter fraud, abuse of power of the executive, abuse of power of the legislative....all of which Barack Obama has engaged in or supported either in his capacities as a Senator, or candidate for President of the United States.
