If Ron Paul and that other conservative spoiler(can’t remember his name right now) had any true concern for this country, they would hold a news conference to officially drop out and ask their supporters to go vote for McCain/Pallin!
This is no year to ‘send a message’. Our country and way of life are at stake. I suggest folks flood their campaign headquarters with calls and emails to tell them so!
I believe Ron Paul has tried to drop out but his name is still on the ballot and it is too late to take it off. Bob Barr is the other one. They could hold a press conference together and urge all their supporters to vote for McCain.
I have told them, vote McCain, and live to fight on another day. If you don't, you may very well end up in a country where no protest or dissent is allowed. Also told them, since one of their biggest things is a broken 2 party system, that unless McCain wins we will have a super majority with all 3 branches! It would mean more, much more coming from Cong. Paul himself, I am sure.
