Time for a revolution. If this gets me kicked off here, so be it. This is INCREDIBLE.

“I knew, I just KNEW that the 401k thing was a longterm scam.”

You and me both.

Remember: the end justifies the means.

The left has no rules.

They have but to destroy and claim ownership by force.

They create nothing.

The parasite is the most successful life form on the planet.

I really fear for my fellow Americans if they don’t wake up soon. The tyranny locomotive is screaming towards them and at least half of them are totally, utterly unconscious — happy lambs being led off to slaughter.

If I wasn’t included in the herd I don’t think I could resist the urge to look away and not witness the carnage.

We must fight these people.

Ignore the polls and vote no matter what.

Vote and then keep on fighting them, Republicans!

“Wonder if fear qulifies as a hardship withdrawl?”

Anyone who considers history knows that socialism/communism is “hardship” by default - synonymous.

Anger is the appropriate emotion for this attack on our livelihood. The fear is normal but should quickly be replace by fierceness and gut-level rage.

including the elimination of most of the $80 billion in annual tax breaks that 401(k) investors receive.

nice spin...it's a "tax deferral"

I believe the socialists want armed revolt in America.

For the life of me ... most, if not all of the socialist's decisions and acts make absolutely no sense, except to destroy America, personal liberty and freedom.

And personally ... I won't stand for it ... I'll be in prison or dead.

This gives me a good reason to drop out of our company’s savings bond drive! Reason OBAMA!

“Time for a revolution. If this gets me kicked off here, so be it. This is INCREDIBLE.”

If that gets you kicked off here then FR is nothing but a farce.

In the face of what is being hefted upon the American people it may require nothing less if we intend to remain a free.

I think that Rush said something about IRA’s. I didn’t read it myself, but it would not surprise me if they went for it all.

I called my representative’s office and told them that if they do this, there will be a revolution.

There is nothing stopping them. They did the bail out with almost 90 percent of us saying no.

"This gives me a good reason to drop out of our company’s savings bond drive! Reason OBAMA!"

It certainly begs the question: Who actually owns "my" savings - "my" retirement account.

Whoa. Simply amazing.

I've been watching the hard-left eat-away at this country for more than a decade. I didn't think it would happen this quickly. It seems to be growing exponentially in strength and scope.

There's still time for McCain to put Obama on the defensive over this issue.

A simple ad showing how 2 dem congressmen and a socialist professor are scheming to get their hands on your 401k is something that would resonate, IMO. It might force Obama to respond and show his hand.

I strongly urge everybody to read up on the federalist papers, particularly where they make reference to the second amendment. There is a reason that founders allowed private ownership of arms, and it wasn’t hunting.

Don’t get so upset folks. Obama promised to lower taxes for 95% of us. Removing the deferred tax of 401Ks would increase income taxes on workers as they’d no longer have the tax benefit. That would mean Obama’s promise will be broken regarding income tax breaks to 95%. Obama wouldn’t do that, would he? He promised!!!!!!
