"The Photo looked suspicious with the “B” being backwards!!!"

While I was always suspicious simply because she refused medical attention and didn't report the crime immediately, the backwards 'B' wasn't a key at all in my opinion.  The orientation of the girl to the cutter reverses the letter.  IOW, if the girl and the cutter were aligned toe to toe and head to head the cut would not appear backwards... but align them head to toe and it would appear as it did.

But the whole thing still didn't sound right from the beginning. I didn't believe for a minute that she held still long enough for someone to cut a letter in her face. It just seems it would be an autonomic response to jerk your face from side to side if someone was cutting on it.

There really isn’t much an emergency room could do for a superficial scratch like that, other than dab on Povidone (which I would do for myself) and ask if Tetanus booster was up to date.
