The article says he plans to spend most of the day with her today. It also says that the family spent a week there earlier and that visit included daily visits to Grandma. (I wasn’t aware of that)
I would hope that somebody trustworthy is keeping close tabs on his whereabouts. I would expcet him to make a side trip to the state office that handles birth certificates, or have one of his surrogates pay them a visit. It wouldn't be too far-fetched to see him performing some dark-alley exchange of cash for an envelope containing a coveted document (like a manufactured birth certificate).
