That’s what I heard. And hip breaks are serious for that age group. Hadn’t heard anything about cancer.
Very true.But it's not the fracture itself that's the problem....old folks have a strong tendency to develop pneumonia and blood clots when they're bedridden for any length of time and those are both bad news for anyone in their 80's or 90's....or even 70's.
