Someone has to enforce the rules of qualifications. I wonder whose jurisdiction it is then?
I’ve been wondering the same thing. This is very troubling. It doesn’t matter whether it’s Obama, McCain, or the third-party candidates, everyone should have to prove that they were born in the U.S.A.
It’s like the immigration laws, not to mention the public officials who decided that they would perform gay weddings even though they were against the law. Selective enforcement of laws because public officials are too corrupt or weak to demand accountability of certain people or on certain issues.
VERY DANGEROUS.
“So in other words there is no government agency that is in charge of making sure a candidate has met the requirements to run for President. So why have requirements?”
A government agency? The courts would decide constitutionality.
I wondered about that too, but I don't know what all hoops you have to jump through to do that, and early voting has been going on 5 days now with heavy turn out. Would it be too late now? I can't believe everyone has waited so long on this.
Someone has got to step up to the plate and open this up for real, official investigation by a federal authority.
I read or heard somewhere that John Boehner has contacted the Attorney General about it, but have heard zilch since?
I think he has lied about his parent’s marriage since back in the days when it mattered, now it doesn’t matter, BUT he has told this lie and has to stick with it. I think his birth certificate says Barry Dunham, mother unwed.
BUT...to admit to this lie would open up other aspects of his life to questions he doesn’t want asked. What other lies has he told?
The FEC was established and chartered to monitor compliance with campaign finance laws, and nothing else.

sorry about the double post
It also would explain his description of a SCOTUS nominee that he would like.
He wants SCOTUS justices to be empathetic with the person’s personal life and take that into consideration when deciding cases.
Maybe he wants a SCOTUS justice to rule that since he WANTS to be a US citizen in order to be POTUS..and since he has corruptly gotten over 600 million dollars in donations...
The justice should be “empathetic”..and forget the constitution!
Individuals born in Panama with at least one parent who is a U.S. citizen is also a U.S. citizen; so what is your point?
No he didn't. Though he did anyway.
Well no he can't, because it can be clearly established that Schwarzenegger wasn't born in the U.S. Can the same be said of Obama?
The CANAL ZONE was US territory until Jimmy gave it back to Panama.
Obama will never produce it because he doesn’t meet the Constitutional criteria for being president. He is hoping to win the election and then have his people hand wave him into office without legal authority.
I believe that he is a political mole put here by our enemies to destroy our government from within.
I know plenty of blacks who would make an excellent president. Obama isn’t one of them.
Obama is a communist who will put himself above the law to advance communism in the United States.
Not to mention that both of McCain’s parents were Americans... not the case with Obama... and also Obama’s mother was under 18 at the time, which also invokes other citizenship laws in place at the time... at least that’s what I read in Berg’s complaint.
Has anyone wondered why there isn’t a background check on Presidential candidates? Obama would never pass it.
Glad you detected sarcasm. :)
Messiahs make their own rules. They don’t let messy little things like constitutional eligibility get in their way.
I should have added that as well, I knew it from teaching history, sorry.
