A good bet is the Andy Martin angle that Fran Marshall Davis was his real father. That would be embarrassing, a hard core commie as your father and a bald faced lie that you have told everyone about your heritage.

Yeah, but Andy Martin has a load of credibility issues surrounding his theories; the guy is a medically diagnosed paranoid that holds some sort of record for bogus lawsuits.

Where is the Federal Law Enforcement? This is Constitutional LAW! He needs to be 35 years old, he needs to have lived in the U.S. for 14 years and in my opinion, the most important requirement set forth in our Constitution is that he needs to have been naturally born in the United States!

Twice. I think he had to tread this one before the 2000 primaries— My understanding wasn’t that he had “passed” an eligibility test, but that he could make the authoritative argument in court if need be.

It is my ubderstanding that any military base the U.S. has is considered American territory, so McCain being born on a military base is indeed a U.S. citizen.
So in other words there is no government agency that is in charge of making sure a candidate has met the requirements to run for President. So why have requirements? Then I guess Schwarzenegger can run for President.
We can’t depend on the mainstream media, even if there were an intrepid reporter willing to write about this, he or she would never get it published.
