LOL Well, I sure would like to say it ain’t so. Like I said, I’ve been voting since Goldwater. And Reagan sure as hell turned it around on Carter, but he had that debate just a few days before the election and, well, he was Reagan. (got to work with him once but that’s another story for another time.)
Anyway, I have never thought anything wrong with taking back and making what you think to be a realistic assessment, realizing you could be wrong, and still doing what you are gonna do anyway.
Response noted with a salute! Anyone who remembers Goldwater before senility set in is OK in my book. My mother went to his convention at the Cow Palace (don’t know what they do there now but I feel for the cows) Let’s hope that the bomb bay doors are cranking open as we speak and the order for “Bombs Away!” is ready to be given!
