Chuck Baldwin will have an opportunity to share his views in a debate scheduled for Thursday, October 23, at 9:00 PM ET in Washington DC.
Baldwin, along with other third party candidates will show voters they dont have to settle for the socialist policies of Obama or McCain. Chuck will detail his vision for a return to Constitutional government in a 90 minute forum.
This was the press release on the debate:
WASHINGTON, DC- Rep. Ron Pauls (R-TX) choice for President is among those invited to a debate for all presidential candidates on Thursday, October 23, in Washington, D.C.
Constitution Party presidential candidate Chuck Baldwin (www.baldwin08.com) will join other third party candidates at the 90-minute forum, which is being sponsored by The Free and Equal Elections Coalition ( www.freeandequal.org).
The Third Party Presidential Candidates Debate will be held at 9 p.m. (EST) at the Mayflower Hotel, 1127 Connecticut Ave., NW, in Washington, D.C.
A total of six presidential candidates who are on enough state ballots to be eligible to win the election have been invited to participate.
The recent endorsement of CP candidate Chuck Baldwin by former GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul has directed many of Pauls supporters to Baldwin. See Ron Pauls endorsement of Baldwin at www.campaignforliberty.com .
The 90-minute debate will focus on the issues that distinguish Chuck Baldwin from the major and minor party presidential candidates in the race: opposition to the so-called bail-outs, opposition to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, support for secure borders, the overturning of Roe v Wade, and a return to limited, Constitutional government.
In addition to Baldwin, the other invited candidates are Republican Party nominee John McCain, Democratic Party nominee Barack Obama, Independent Ralph Nader, the Green Partys Cynthia McKinney, and the Libertarian Partys Bob Barr.
For those who don't like their choices in the two major parties...
It should be comical with McKinney involved. I’m not wasting my vote with a third party ... too much is at stake.
Very true! Any third party person who doesn't vote for McCain/Palin should really think if their little protest is worth the damage that will be done to our country.
You can say that again!
Is Snow White appearing or just the Dwarfs?
Who’s gong to air this tonight?
You can place the blame squarely on those responsible for nominating McCain as the Republican candidate this election cycle.
Vote for whoever you want.
Saying there is a wasted vote would imply that the death and sacrifice of our fore fathers and veterans so we could vote for whoever we wanted was a waste.
I couldn’t have said it better myself.
So, you don't like McCain and you think it would be better to have obama, since that is what you (and all of us) would get. I've never seen a better example of cutting of your nose to spite your face.
They all will agree with the Rats that we
should cut and run.
I hope there will be more than just Nader and Baldwin.
When Pedro said the debate would be on tonight, those are the only ones he said would be there.
I agree with the rats that we should never have invaded Iraq.
What’s the deal, I had this on at 9:00 PM and didn’t see it?
And if Obama gets in then their sacrifice for our freedoms would have been wasted on those who live in their own fantasy world.
I don't think we should have fought in WW1-so what!
