The one ad tthat does disturb me is the one the McCain comes on and says "the last eight years have not been so great have they?" Well, to tell the truth, with all that has happend 9-11 on, they actually have not been bad at all. No recession and low unemployment and tax cuts etc... It's really only been bad the last few months or since the Democrats took over Congress.

No, I don't agree with Bush's amnesty or bailout or even how he went about taking out Saddam (I believed a more Afghanistan approach would have worked better, but hindsight and armchair quaterbacking...). However, they hhave been better than the Clinton years all things considered. I would shudder to think how that nutcase Al Gore would have handled 9-11 or John Kerry the last 4 years... Bush has lots of faults, but nothing like Gore-Kerry ones would have been.

I think you misinterpreted that paragraph and statement by McCain to be an attack on President Bush.

It wasn’t.

He actually was sticking up for him and putting down the democrats.
